Our pharmacy has been
in operation in Arco since the mid-1950's, serving the people of the Big and Little Lost
River Valleys. We've owned the store since 1998. We're located at the edge of the Snake
River Plain in Idaho, just a
few miles from Craters of the Moon, Sun Valley and the highest peaks in Idaho. There
are more than thirty peaks topping 10,000 feet elevation within 50 miles. Just
up the valley, in Moore, is King Mountain, one of the premier hang-gliding and para-gliding sites in the world.
One of Arco's claims
to fame is our status as the first city in the world to be lighted by atomic energy.
Although no longer able to make that claim, we're still proud of that feat.
Another famous
landmark is "Number Hill". Some local historians maintain that the numbers
indicate high water marks, but that's an unconfirmed rumor.
We stock gift items
from Ganz, Enesco, Ty, Russ Berrie and greeting cards from Carlton Cards and Leaning Tree.
Our soda fountain serves zesty Italian sodas, Coca-Cola products, Ironport (an old-time
favorite), Musetti Espressos (regular and decaf), cappuccinos, and latte's.
A new (to us) item that we're
very excited about is our "Atomic Steamer". If you like good hot
chocolate, you will LOVE steamers! They're a steamed milk drink (UGGHH...that
doesn't sound good at all!), flavored with Italia d' Oro syrups ... they are WONDERFUL!!
They're
"Atomic" because we make them here in Arco!

and Kodak films, including some Fujichrome Professional 35mm film. If you
haven't shot slide film recently and are interested in larger-than-snapshot
enlargements and rich colors, you should really shoot a roll of Fujichrome
Pro Velvia. I think you'll be impressed!
